How to use the Turbo decoder Prodecoder – short instructions:
Set up the TURBO DECODER key –
-close the gate wheel
-turn left the turbo wheel / back one / next to the point of the middle wheel / gate wheel /
-open the gate wheel by pull it back
-rise the pins open to the maximum position with your set up device
-close the gate wheel / push it to the front /
-turn the back wheel / turbo wheel / maximum to the right
Now your turbodecoder prodecoder is ready for a lock opening..
2 Checking the generation of the lock by using the tester key
-we put the tester key in the lock: if it stops on nothing you just reverse the key, then if it stops on green metal blade point it means that the lock is second generation type. If it stops on red pointit means that it is a first generation lock. After correct putting it in look on what side is the plastic head green points – left or right. The orientation point of your turbo prodecoder must follow the same direction. Note* on the VAG hu66 HORISONTAL LOCKS the orientation points must be up.
3 Putting the Turbodecoder in
Close gate wheel
Turn turbo whell maximum to the right
Put the Turbodecoder in with a closed gate, and holding the gate wheel with points directed to the same side as the keytester pointed.
4 Starting to open the lock
to open a lock very important is how strong you make a tension. (tension wheel)
too weakly – do not open a lock or will open very slow / arround 2-3 min. /
too strong – break a tool or risk of tool deformation.
-make a tension left (turn the tension wheel left) and turn the turbo wheel on line number 1 (turn the turbo wheel to the first line on the gate) and return the turbo wheel right and check a little bit
-make a tension right (turn the tension wheel right) and turn the turbo weel on line number 1 (turn the turbo wheel to the first line on the gate) and return the turbo wheel right and check again little bit and conversely repeat it 4-5 times from 1-1, 1-1, 1-1, 1-1 then 2-2, 2-2, 2-2, 2-2, and progressively so on, until you open the lock
-when the turbodecoder is turned to the open position stay in this position and turn the turbo wheel to the point on the gate wheel
-juggle a little bit
-turn to the other side
-juggle a little bit
Now your turbo prodecoder pass tru the neutral lock point exactly as the original key – no stacks… smooth.
At that point you memorise where is your indicative line of the back wheel. If later you need to read the key code go in that exact point and do the reading.
5 Take off torbodecoder
-put the line (turbo wheel) next to the point (gate wheel)
-moving the gate wheel up and down push the gate at the same time until you close it
-turn to the right (turbo wheel)
-extract the tool holding the tension wheel
6 Reading code
-open the gate
-turn the line (turbo wheel) next to the point (gate wheel)
-check the pin depts on the tool and write them down on a piece of paper
